Cheeky Chicken Wins Healthy Food Award

Cheeky Chicken’s new Westfield Fountain Gate store recently entered a competition, known as the Choice Awards, for food retailers who best provide healthy, affordable food options for the residents of the City of Casey and neighboring Cardinia Shire.

Judging was conducted in three areas;
1. the premises are clean and hygienic and all food storage , production and handling are of the highest standard
2. the business provides a range of healthy food choices, and
3. healthy food choices are affordable.

Cheeky Chicken was judged by an Environmental Health Officer and accredited Dietician in the above areas and was found to be leading the industry, as a consequence Cheeky Chicken was a Choice Award winner. A key factor in taking off the award was the Healthy Choice Superfoods range of foods, all with detailed nutritional information for the consumer.

The photo below shows the Lord Mayor of the City of Casey, Cr Kevin Bradford, presenting Cheeky Chicken’s Stephen Gleeson with a plaque celebrating the Choice Award win. So well done and congratulations to all the staff at Cheeky Chicken Fountain Gate.

New Menu Boards

We have just installed our new menu graphics. They feature a lot less writing, bigger and clearer images of our food and a panel dedicated to combos especially for kids – with new colours, layout and fonts. So next time you visit Cheeky Chicken tell us what you think.

New Menu Items

Chicken Rice Paper Rolls

We are always listening to our customers comments and gauging trends in what people are eating. In response, we have just added something new to our menu - Chicken Rice Paper Rolls.

Our Chicken Rice Paper Rolls are made in a Vietnamese style and feature all fresh ingredients with thin strips of steamed chicken breast (it’s even lower in fat cooked this way!) and fresh coriander rolled in rice paper. They are sold two to a pack with your choice of sauce.

The Chicken Rice Paper Rolls are light, fresh and clean in taste and for sufferers of Coeliac Disease (intolerance to gluten), they are gluten free and also contain no yeast.

A two pack with dipping sauce retails @ $3.95. Coming soon are Thai style chicken rice paper rolls, featuring grated ginger and coriander for that authentic Thai taste.

New Kids Combos

We have also added two new Kids Combos featuring Freddo Frogs, chicken (our nuggets or strips) a Disney Juice and chips or salad.

Combos now available with salads, 100% fruit juices

For our customers conscious of their calorie intake, all combos can have chips substituted with a fresh salad. Drinks in the combos include a choice of 100% pure fruit juices or bottled water.

New sauce choice

We have just added Honey Soy as a sauce option, available with all made fresh to order burgers, wraps or subs.
