Cheeky Chicken Westfield Fountain Gate about to open!

Our newest Cheeky Chicken is now only weeks away from opening on level 2, Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre. We are going to need a lot of people to help us make it a reality. Specifically the employment opportunities that we have are:

Manager

The sort of person who we think would be best suited for this hands on position would be a highly motivated person with strong leadership abilities and sales focused. The sorts of duties that are involved for the position include: staff supervision / motivation, rostering, stock control, quality and portion control, banking, daily reporting to head office and maintenance of systems standards and procedures. Being hands on, customer service and some kitchen work would also be on the agenda.

Start can be immediate and training will be provided. We pay well with an attractive wage negotiable commensurate with experience.

Cooks

We also require a number of cooks to keep the great food coming. Duties include food ordering and receiving, cleaning, preparation and cooking and some customer service. Maintenance of clean and hygienic kitchen is also a high priority.

An attractive wage is being offered, commensurate with experience. Full training at one of our other shops will be provided.

Shop assistants

We are also after a number of enthusiastic and energetic people with bright outgoing personalities to perform customer service. Specifically duties include: sales / selling, portion control, merchandising, money handling, cleaning and occasionally cooking / helping out in the kitchen.

All the above positions are flexible in regards time commitment ranging from 10 to 30 hours for the shop assistant, 20 to 38 for the cooks positions and 35 to 40 hours per week for the management position. Penalty rates of pay apply to all positions for any time worked on public holidays.

With the busy Christmas / holiday period not being far away we also have vacancies for shop assistants at both our Westfield Bay City Geelong and Bayside Frankston shops. Read the above for details of what the positions involve.
